Jason litigates a wide variety of cases where his persistence, determination, work ethic and attention to detail have helped his clients obtain multi-million-dollar settlements and damage awards. Jason excels at briefing, oral argument, and cross-examining fact and expert witnesses. He has briefed and argued discovery and dispositive motions in federal and state district courts across the country and has drafted briefs before the United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit and the Supreme Court of the United States.


Jason has extensive experience in cases involving contract disputes, products liability, civil rights, constitutional law, international law, medical malpractice, class actions, personal injury, employment, business law and environmental law. He has also represented clients in a variety of other matters, including family law, immigration, trusts and estates, human rights and tribal matters. 


Jason graduated from Willamette Law School, where he was the Chief Editor of the Center for Dispute Resolution Journal, a Finalist in the First Year Appellate Competition, and a Regional Finalist in the American Bar Association’s Negotiation Competition. He served as the Vice President for the Class of 2014 and represented the law school on the University’s Board of Trustees’ Committee for Religious, Spiritual and Ethical Life. Jason received numerous other awards and recognition for outstanding course work.


Jason also worked with the school’s human rights clinic, volunteering time to seek asylum for those persecuted and tortured for political and religious beliefs abroad. This work also involved extensive research into human trafficking in Oregon and along the West Coast, culminating in a report that was presented to the Oregon State Legislature and published in the American Indian Law Journal. He was also involved in the school’s Street Law program, volunteering time to teach law to underprivileged teenagers.
